Control and Monitoring Features

Every unit in the Basic Line features a Soft-Touch interface with an LCD display, providing precise management of storage conditions.

  • Integrated Datalogger: Memory capacity for up to 46,000 records, with the last 20 alarms viewable directly on the display.
  • Connectivity: USB port for data downloading and an optional Ethernet port for LAN connection.
  • Safety Alarms: 7 audible and visual alarms (High/Low temperature with adjustable thresholds, Open door, Condenser cleaning, Probe failure, Power failure, and Backup battery failure).
  • Construction: Interior in Scotch Brite stainless steel and exterior in corrosion-treated, PVC-coated galvanised steel.
  • Refrigerant: Eco-friendly R290 (CFC/HCFC-free).

These units feature two independent compressors and compartments, allowing for dual positive or positive/negative (+2/+12°C and -25/-10°C) storage.

Features include: DIN 58345 compliance (safety thermostat at +2°C), anti-condensation heated glass doors, and a microprocessor controller with 10 different alarm types.

 

Professional Freezers (-10°C to -25°C)

Equipped with static evaporation, ABS drawers for internal organization, and 100mm thick polyurethane insulation.

 

Smeg Ultra-Low Temperature Freezers (-40°C to -86°C)

Designed for the long-term preservation of cells, biological samples, and biotechnology materials requiring extremely low temperatures.

  • SMU50 (50L Chest Freezer): Compact design with an LCD display and 110mm insulation. Perfect for decentralized storage or limited space.
  • SMU678 (678L Upright Freezer): High-capacity unit featuring a 7″ touch screen display, 4 independent inner compartments with dedicated doors to minimize thermal loss, and 130mm thick insulation.
