The range includes four models—GWF06, GWF16, GWF26 and GWF46—all with a width of 600 mm and a 152-litre chamber capacity. Each model is built to accommodate a wide variety of laboratory glassware, including bottles, flasks, beakers, pipettes, vials, test tubes, graduated cylinders and other reusable laboratory items.

GWF06 – Compact Laboratory Glassware Washer

The GWF06 is the entry-level 60 cm Smeg glassware washer. It is designed for laboratories requiring a compact and robust washing solution with essential traceability and flexible loading capabilities.

It performs washing cycles at temperatures of up to 85°C, providing antibacterial thermal disinfection for laboratory glassware and reusable materials.

GWF16 – Professional Laboratory Glassware Washer

The GWF16 expands the functionality of the GWF06 by introducing a higher maximum washing temperature, increased programme capacity, AISI 316L chamber construction and enhanced options for connectivity, traceability and chemical dosing.

It is suitable for laboratories requiring greater programme flexibility and more advanced process control.

The GWF26 combines the technical platform of the GWF16 with an integrated forced hot-air drying system. It is designed for laboratories that need washed glassware to be dry and ready for reuse at the end of the cycle.

The model can be equipped with an optional HEPA H14 absolute filter, supporting applications where high-quality filtered drying air is required.

FlexiLoad Modular Loading System

All 60 cm Smeg glassware washers use the FlexiLoad concept, allowing the washing chamber to be configured according to the type, size and quantity of glassware to be processed. This helps laboratories optimise each washing cycle, reduce resource consumption and increase operational efficiency.

The system supports both spray and injection washing configurations through compatible racks, modules and accessories.

Examples of available loading modules include:

  • MFL-8P: Injection washing for up to 8 medium narrow-neck bottles, flasks or Erlenmeyers up to 1 litre.
  • MFL-20P: Injection washing for up to 20 small-to-medium narrow-neck glassware items.
  • MFL-35P: Injection washing for up to 35 small flasks, test tubes or vials.
